21st Century Technology Issues 
My main topic is “Pirate ~copyright infringement~”
My three main points are
1.Why people upload pirate and why people watch pirate.
2.The impacts of pirate
3.How to solve the problem.
I choose my topic because I am interested in copyright infringement.
Among the comics, music, novels, or movies on the internet, those are illegally uploaded are called Pirate or Pirate edition.
I have been interested in pirate because I’m interested in work related to books.
Pirate can rob people who work in books, movies and music from their work and rewards.
If they rob their works, inspiring comics, movies, and great music will be lost from the world.
I do not want to that happen. So, I will find out why pirate are widespread and why people read and see pirated copies knowing that they are illegal. And then think about how to get rid of pirate.
I have researched north and south problem when I was secong grade student. I will research this problem more specifically, forcusing in the food. These days, the free trade is improving but ther is still dark international trade chain leaded by international food company.
In addittion to that, the food safty is also one of the problem of world wide food conpany.
I will research this safty problem by suger.
I will research the Myanmar coup. Recently, the conflict between citizens and Myanmar’s military is attracting a big interest from international society. Some new told me that many citizens had been killed due to this conflict and some demonstrator got a death sentence. I have a question that whether this is a violation of human rights or not. If it is, I want to know why international organizations and the United Nations do nothing. This made me interested in this topic.
I will research with three main points; process of this conflict, situation of citizens and international law concerning this issue.
My topic is food supply.
My three main points are
1.food self-sufficiency
2. food loss
3. food shortage.
I have two reasons for choosing this topic. Firstly, food loss is very serious problem in the world. As we know, there are many people who can’t eat enough, but a lot of food is thrown away, so I want to consider what I can do to improve the current situation. Secondly, I often participate in food bank activities because I belong to volunteer circle. However, there are many things I have not known. I would like to research what initiatives are being taken around the world.
My topic is about religious persecution in China. Religious persecution has been occurring in the world for many years. Especially in China, religious persecution is getting more and more attention from all over the world. Why is religious discrimination taking place in China? What kind of damage is the people suffering from religious persecution? What is the core issue of religious persecution in China? I saw in the news that this issue involves things such as financial issues. Of course, This is a human rights issue not only in China but around the world. However, I was interested because China has great economic growth. In addition, I also want to know if Japan and the world are pessimistic about China’s problems.
The reason why I choose my topic is that “political correctness”, which is my topic is familiar with mass media that I want to engage in in my future. In addition to that, there are more and more corrections or restrictions upon the expressions of the words through my life. For example, police man to police officer. However, there are still issues or complains about PC when I look through the opinions on the social media. Therefore, I’d like to expand my knowledge about this topic to know the trend of the society and hopefully use it for my future career.
My topic is labour in current industry. My main three points are poverty, proletariat class, and working environment. Recently UNIQLO, the company of fast fashion, is growing rapidly as one of the biggest companies in worldwide. The low price of each items is remarkable and tempting point so that UNIQLO is accepted everybody as a good shop of clothing. However, the low price means UNIQLO tried to cut down some cost such as wage or machine cost. If so, there is a possibility that the system of UNIQLO make poverty or poor environment. I picked up UNIQLO this time, but there are more companies that makes disparity between capitalist and workers wider. Through 1st cycle, I hope to know such system and issue.
My first topic is LGBT. Why did I chose this topic is that I want to know this issue well and understand it. In the world, so many people are live together. If there are so many people, it goes without saying that each person has a different personality. And of course, it includes LGBT people.
However, opinions on genderless and same-sex marriage are still mixed in Japan and around the world, and most of them remain negative. I wanted to find out what kind of problems there are and what kind of people are suffering from LGBT in a modern society where diversity is needed, and to learn how each and every one of us should change our minds.
My topic is air pollution in Japan.
In recent years, I have heard that air pollution has been taken up in the news of each country, so I chose my topic. Air pollution is also a problem in Japan. In Japan, after World War II, serious air pollution became a major social problem with remarkable economic development. In recent years, due to the increase in automobile traffic, pollution by nitrogen oxides (NOx) and suspended particulate matter (SPM) has become a problem. Therefore, I will focus on air pollution in Japan. My three main topics will explain what environmental pollution is, why air pollution is spreading in Japan, and how to deal with it.
My topic is LGBTI.
My three main points are
1. law or ordinance about marriage
2. problems like discrimination or prejudice
3. reception of LGBTI people.
I chose this topic because I want to know more about the current situation. I often hear the word ‘LGBTI’ recently, but I don’t know these details, so I want to research them. When I watched a video from YouTube, a certain lesbian couple said that there are many issues for LGBTI people in Japan, such as discrimination and law. Therefore, I want to think about the way to solve these problems of LGBTI people in Japan. I think about the solution for realizing to create an environment which all people can easily live in. I want to report my opinion through a presentation.
My topic is food supply.
The three main points are meat consumption and climate change, efforts to address food loss and efforts to tackle hunger.
I chose this topic because I hate wasting food. I work part-time at convenience stores and restaurants, where a lot of waste is generated everyday. However, there are areas in the world that are short of food, and a lot of people have a hard time living a day. I am wondering about the current situation where both food shortages and food loss exist.
There are some problems with food supply, but I would also like to investigate the problem of meat consumption related to climate change, which has been attracting attention in recent years.

The reason why I chose my topic:
I chose my topic because of following two reasons. Firstly, I thought fair-trade is one of the key issues to solve the international problems such as poverty and child-labor. Producing chocolate, cloth, and coffee are sometimes closely related to the poverty and child-labor, and I believed fair trade was one of the solutions to these serious problems. Secondly, I felt this theme was challenging because this was a theme which was far from me. The problems which related to fair-trade mostly happened in developing countries, and these places were geographically and psychologically distant from me. I felt this was a good opportunity to know and learn about the importance of fair-trade. By researching this issue from wide perspectives, I would like to share my knowledge and opinions to classmates in the presentation.
My topic is Fairtrade. My three main points are1. What is Fairtrade? 2. The Fairtrade standards and products 3. Fairtrade as SDGS. For the first presentation, I chose this topic because I did not know about the problem very much. I would like to research what Fair Trade is and why we should do that. Also, I have never researched such kind of problem before in this school, so I am very interested in this issue.
Moreover, I would like to work at ports and airports in the future. Therefore, I thought I should study trade-related issues for my job. In addition to this, I think that many of the problem is related to other global issues like “Child Labor”, so I can study wide range of global issues.
My topic is Antitrust and my main three points are fine, power and Alibaba.
I chose “Antitrust” because I heard the news of Alibaba related to antitrust and I wanted to know more about it. In Japan, There are some cases to violate antitrust laws, one of them is the Haagen-Dazs affair in 1996. A certain company claimed that the ice cream dealer pressured retailers not to offer or reduce prices of its products. The Japan Fair Trade Commission recommended that they stop the practice. I did not know this case and then I would like to research the current situation of antitrust law including violation and the advantage of this law. That is why I selected this topic.
My topic is Sustainable Fashion (Clothing waste). My three main points are environment issue, wastage rate and current situation in Japan.
The reason why I choose this topic is environmental problems can be improved with just one piece of clothing that is familiar to us. Recently, it is the most important for young consumers how much are those when they buy clothes. Of course there is a reason for cheapness. And for that reason, it seems that the amount of waste is increasing. If we young people change each consciousness, the world would be better. Also, especially in Japan, I don’t have many opportunities to hear about sustainable fashion, so I want to investigate and share any activities that are working in Japan.
My topic is alcohol. There are two main reasons why I chose this topic.
The first reason is that alcohol can sometimes be harmful to your health. I think many people have heard that the right amount of alcohol has a positive effect on the body. However, we don’t know how much alcohol is in the right amount, and everyone just drinks too much.
The second reason is that you will be able to drink legally while you are in college. As a result, we often consume too much alcohol. However, excessive alcohol intake has a negative effect on the body.
I chose this topic for these reasons. We need to think again about alcohol and its effects.
My topic is forced labor. Forced labor is modern international issue. In developed countries, there are many companies that came from the developed company and recruit people at developing country and forcing people to work. The people who live in developed company has become much more convenient and comfortable. On the other hand, there are many people who are forced to work in a bad and unfair conditions in developing countries. I think this problem disserves much more attention and people should find real solutions.
My topic is information technology, especially about privacy. The reason why I chose this topic is because of my friend. I am doing a driver of Uber Eats, and when I asked my friend to start doing delivery, he denied because he was afraid of sending his photo of himself. He told me that he feels like being controlled and I could not understand that feeling as much as him. I could understand his feeling instinctively, but I couldn’t come up with any concrete damage. I began to have interest with privacy on the internet.
